SEC - Background Objectives Method

Background

This idea was born out of the many request from friends to teach them English language or help them perfect the use of English language. For eight (8) months now I have thought of how to fulfill this. I have written ideas on papers and prepared materials 5 months ago but was limited by time and space. I lately realized on the 9^th of July, 2015 after trying a pilot teaching on “line app” that using chatrooms / groups can help me realize this promise I made. That inspired me to create “ SIMPLE ENGLISH CLASS” (SEC) on whatsapp (10^th July, 2015). This group is the first of its kind and we are proud that it started in our great school IPB. Am sure that it will attract many interest from friends, students, lecturers, researchers etc who wish to improve or sustain their use of English and subsequently spread in Indonesia and elsewhere.

Objectives
1. To make friends and maintain friendship

2. To improve our English skills in a simple way
3.  To generate innovative ideas to learning a second language

4.  To ensure quality research abstracts for friends and encourage research/academic writing in       English Language

Methods

- Create chat rooms / groups (on whatsapp, facebook, line, bbm)

- Name = SIMPLE ENGLISH CLASS_place (i.e "SEC_IPB" for     IPB)
- Add friends or participants

- Introduce rules and regulations

- Motivate friends/participants

- Select Moderators

- Learn innovatively

- others ( classes have two flexible session - morning 8-10am and afternoon 4-6pm and discussions will be regulated)
